Project Description

Greater: The Champion Series

Join some of the most renowned college football coaches like Bobby Bowden, Tommy Bowden, and more and players for one simulcast event of amazing testimony and mentoring on what it takes to be great on and off the field.

Who do your players… your sons… your coaches strive to be on and off the field? Do they strive to be great… in both arenas? Are they succeeding? How are you helping them build character?

Join us for the GREATER Men’s Event and join amazing players and coaches as they share their stories of greatness both on and off the field.  Bobby Bowden, Tommy Bowden, Mark Richt, Drew Maddux, Renaldo Wynn, and event host, Stephen Mansfield come together on one night to pass on to an audience of men both young an old a message about true greatness.

Listen as they share messages of success, influence, and winning, but speaking a truth in wisdom they all know and live; no amount of fame or money matters if a life is not firmly rooted in their faith.  It is God who supplied them the strength to be greater. It is God who will supply YOU with the direction you need to learn and teach others around you how to be greater.

BOBBY BOWDEN, Legendary College Football Coach

As one of the winningest coaches in Division I football history, Coach Bobby Bowden has had statues erected in his honor and national charities and awards named after him. Four generations of fans have heard his message and witnessed his results. He built a successful career, climbed to the top of his field, and has a loving family. And yet, Coach Bowden, who, as he puts it, is in the “fourth quarter” of his life, has a message for us all: The success… the influence… the accolades… the wins… none of it matters if our lives are not rooted in faith.

TOMMY BOWDEN, Former College Football Coach and Fox Sports Analyst

Tommy Bowden can be seen weekly as a College Football Analyst with Fox Sports on ACC Gridiron Live and The New College Football Show. He coached college football for 32 years (Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, West Virginia, Kentucky, Duke, Tulane, and Clemson). He holds the record as head coach for 90 wins in eleven and a half years and has never had a losing season. Coach Bowden has been actively involved with faith based speaking for at least 20 years.

 MARK RICHT, College Football Coach

Mark Richt is best known for his time as the Head Football Coach of the Georgia Bulldogs. In his 15 years leading Georgia, he produced 14 winning seasons and multiple bowl game appearances. Known as much for his character off the field, he represented Georgia in his faith and through his family. Coach Richt played quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes and spent most of his career at Miami as a backup to former Buffalo Bills star Jim Kelly. Richt and his wife Katharyn currently reside in Athens, Georgia, and have four children.

Drew Maddux, a native of Tennessee, was a four-year starter for the Vanderbilt Commodore basketball team. Some of the noteworthy honors he received included, ALL-SEC Freshman, USA Olympic Festival Team, First Team ALL-SEC, and Honorable Mention ALL-AMERICA honors. Maddux was also an Academic ALL-SEC member as well as being recognized as one of the Outstanding Young Men of America in 1998. For the past eight years, Maddux has been the Head Coach at Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA) in Nashville. Drew is passionate about developing leaders around the message “Be Great, Do Good.”

RENALDO WYNN, Retired NFL Veteran, Game Plan for Life

Renaldo Wynn has spent most of his life making an impact on the football field – including his time as a stand out at Notre Dame to his NFL career with the Washington Redskins, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the New York Giants. He retired from the NFL following the 2009 season, and found an opportunity to make an impact in 2012 when he joined his former Coach of the Washington Redskins Joe Gibbs at his NASCAR headquarters just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. While Wynn assists the marketing department at Joe Gibbs Racing his primary responsibility is serving Coach Gibbs’ ministry Game Plan for Life delivering that message through large outreach breakfast events and original content online at
